End of the Ladder was founded in 1989 and is the oldest resident ensemble at Insight Arts. The multi-media ensemble was created to provide a space where diverse artists could explore issues of colonialism, patriarchy, white supremacy and heterosexism. The ensemble roots itself in the rigorous study of philosophy, theory, art and literature coupled with a strong commitment to struggle for liberation
